Helene also does events with her flute and guitar duo Divertimente with flutist Susan Lazar. 

Divertimente is a classic flute and guitar duo.  Their repertoire includes music selected from Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras, including light popular examples.  Composers represented include Dowland, Bach, Handel, Gossac, Mozart, Guiliani, Bizet, Ibert, Villa-Lobos, Satie, Ravel, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Bartok, and others.

Susan Lazar has been awarded a Master of Music degree majoring in flute performance.  She holds a continuing teaching certificate from the State of Michigan specializing in instrumental music education.  Performing locally as a flute soloist and as a section leader with the Michigan Flute Orchestra, Susan has also directed the Rose Flute Ensemble since 1981.
